1, the mold is the mold: the mold is the skeleton of the whole mold, and the production of all mold parts needs to consider the structure of the mold.
The cost of the mold generally accounts for about 30% of the whole mold, the mold is manufactured by a specialized large-scale mold factory, which has been standardized, and the mold manufacturers only need to customize the mold factory according to their own needs. The mold is divided into panel, A plate (front template), B plate (back template), C plate (square iron), bottom thimble panel, thimble bottom plate, cylinder, guide post, return pin, thimble, stay head, limit nail, etc.
2, the mold is also known as the cavity, that is, the molding mold core embedded in the mold template. It is divided into front mold kernel and back mold kernel, commonly known as front (Cavity) and back mold (Core). Why embed molds in the template? Mainly to save costs. Because the plastic has high requirements for the steel characteristics of the mold, such as hardness, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance (thermal deformation), and the template of the mold embryo does not need to be too high.
The hardness of the mold is generally 45~65HRC, and the template hardness of the mold embryo is 30~45HRC. The steel used as the mold can reach RMB200 per kilogram, and the steel of the mold embryo generally only needs RMB20 to 30 yuan. Note: HRC is Rockwell hardness.
3. Nozzle: The nozzle of the gun barrel of the injection molding machine will inject the molten plastic raw materials into the cavity through the device.
4, the slider is also known as the row bit: the structural components that must be used for the smooth exit of the mold. Because some products have a special structure, such as holes on the side, backsnaps (hooks), etc., it is necessary to use row bits to get out of the mold.
5, inclined top: similar to the row, is also a structural component that must be used to smooth out the mold.
